The existing 4-storey Georgian building in Gravesend straddles two streets. Currently used as offices (Harmer Street building) and a snooker/pool room venue (West Crescent Road building), Hasbridge secured the redevelopment of these properties on a design and build basis to convert them into 38 apartments.
Solution & Results
This contract will involve the demolition and reconfiguration of the internal layouts in both buildings (Harmer Street and West Crescent Road), complete new M&E systems throughout and thorough refurbishment and fit out of the new apartments.
The Harmer Street building is Grade II listed and therefore requires retention and protection works externally. The West Crescent Road building also requires the installation of a new central core and lift shaft.
We are currently awaiting planning sign off and approval from the Conservation Officer, however works are expected to commence late autumn 2018 for a duration of 54 weeks.
