81 Gracechurch Street is a self-contained office building situated midway between Leadenhall Street and Fenchurch Street that backs onto Leadenhall market. The project required the full refurbishment of the 3rd floor within the office block, including office units and a reception area. This job was won by competitive tender.

Solution and Results
This refurbishment was a modest value scheme of circa £200K for a new client and new consultant team. The 3rd floor refurbishment works included stripping out and disposing of existing services and glass and dry wall partitions, validating M&E systems, installing new floor coverings, laying new carpets throughout the entire office area and installing a new kitchen and surfaces. In addition, a new lighting scheme was installed with LED fittings and the office area was redecorated throughout.

The reception refurbishment works comprised of striping out existing surface finishes, designing and installing a new cladding system to the walls, removing the existing reception desk and designing and installing a new one, refurbishing the lift, installing a new lighting scheme and thorough redecoration of the reception area.

The scheme was delivered on time, within budget, and Hasbridge were praised by the client and their team for their ‘professional approach’ to a scheme of its value.
